PH Covid-19 jab drive hits 230K a day

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Saturday that the Philippines vaccination drive against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) registered a record high 230,000 jabs in a single day.

Galvez, also the chief implementer of the National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF), said a total of 229,769 vaccine doses were administered on May 20, the highest daily vaccination rate since the government's immunization program was launched on March 1.
