A bill penalizing vaccination queue-jumpers with 60-day imprisonment and fines of up to P500,000 has been filed at the House of Representatives.
House Bill (HB) 9189 or the proposed "Covid-19 Vaccine Queue-Jumping Ban Act," seeks to criminalize the act of disregarding the priority groups for the national vaccination drive against Covid-19. It proposes penalties of imprisonment for at least 15 days and fines of not less than P100,000.
