Meet John Peter Bautista, PPO's youngest member

John Peter Bautista came from a family of marching band members. His grandfather owned a band in Nueva Ecija and at 12 years old, he started playing the flute supervised by his father, Larry Bautista. In 2013, he was admitted at the UST Conservatory of Music under a Flute Performance Program.

He shifted to Oboe Performance Program under professor Reynato Resurreccion, and later became the principal oboist of the UST Symphony Orchestra and the UST Wind Orchestra under professor Herminigildo Ranera.
