THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has reminded establishments in Central Luzon, especially groceries and supermarkets, to comply with the price freeze on basic goods under Presidential Proclamation 1143 signed recently by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The proclamation, which declared a nationwide state of calamity over the spread of African swine fever virus (ASF) in 2,571 barangay (villages) throughout the country, will implement an automatic price control, particularly on pork products.
