THE daily new cases in the National Capital Region (NCR) decreased further as its reproduction number continued to plateau while cities outside the capital are experiencing significant one-week growth rates, according to the OCTA independent research group.
As of May 21, the seven-day average of new cases in the NCR dropped to 1,299 per day from May 14 to 20, a 25 percent decline from the previous period.
