THE Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom) has transported the fifth batch of Covid-19 vaccines to the island provinces of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi on Friday morning on-board a C-295 aircraft of the Philippine Air Force from the Edwin Andrews Air Base in Zamboanga City. According to WesMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan Jr., the aircraft carried two boxes of AstraZeneca vaccines containing more than 4,000 doses. “The Philippine Air Force always ensures that our airmen are protected while facilitating the safe movement of the vaccines across the country,” said Col.
