Know the risk factors and symptoms of diabetes

According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), symptoms of diabetes include: increased thirst and urination, increased hunger, fatigue, blurred vision, numbness or tingling in the feet or hands, sores that do not heal, and unexplained weight loss.1 In the Philippines, 99 percent of people living with type 2 diabetes (T2D) also experience cardiovascular complications.

The following risk factors are what make a person more likely to have T2D:
