Ruben Ecleo Jr., ex-lawmaker, cult leader, dies of cardiac arrest

MURDER convict and cult leader Ruben Ecleo Jr. died due to cardiac arrest, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said on Thursday.

BuCor spokesman Gabriel Chaclag confirmed to The Manila Times that Ecleo, a former representative of Dinagat Islands, succumbed to cardiopulmonary arrest at 12:20 p.m.
