GUANGXI: A 3.3-meter-long python, believed to be among the rarest python species in the world, has been found at a farm in Dongxing, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The giant reptile, which weighs 30 kilograms, was caught alive after a fierce “fight” with the catchers.

The python was first spotted squatting motionless on a stone in a water mite reservoir on Monday by the owner of a farm next to the reservoir. Shocked and scared, the owner immediately called the local fire fighters to capture the snake.
