BECAUSE of the alarming rise of Covid-19 cases in Occidental Mindoro, a government hospital in San Jose has decided to convert its medical wards to Covid-dedicated rooms to accommodate the new patients, a Health official said on Saturday.

Provincial Health Office officer Ma. Teresa Tan told The Manila Times that there was an alarming increase in the number of suspected Covid-19 infections in the town of San Jose, and the San Jose District Hospital (SJDH) only has eight isolation rooms.
