MIDSAYAP, North Cotabato: Vice Mayor Cristobal Cadungon of Antipas town, this province, has blamed politics for an assassination attempt on his life at 1:44 in the morning last Wednesday, April 28, when his family’s residence was showered with bullets.

Before the shooting, according to the vice mayor, an unidentified person could be seen trespassing in front of his house on the evenings of April 19 to 21 based on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
