AFTER recovering from the coronavirus infection, Koronadal City Mayor Eliordo Ogena has started reporting to work. Despite the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the city, Ogena said he has no plans of putting the city under a lockdown or reinstating general community quarantine. Koronadal has 128 active cases but the mayor said the situation is under control. Ogena emphasized a lockdown in the city will place the residents in tough situations, thus, he pleaded for his constituents to raise their guard against the virus, strengthen their immune system, follow health protocols and avoid non-essential travels.
