Before its recent graceful exit, the Honda Jazz was one of the brand’s bestselling, well-loved vehicles. More than being a part of JDM history, the Jazz created its own local cult following among city drivers. In fact, coming from a Honda-driving family, the Jazz entered our lives two years ago as a test drive unit — and what an impression it made. Having gone through the best years of the City, Civic, and Accord, expectations were on a high for the Jazz, especially since it has history rooted in Japan’s race track. Needless to say, with its perfectly compact size, easy maneuvering, smooth acceleration, adding it to the garage was a no-brainer. So much so that when Honda Cars Philippines (HCP) announced that the iconic model is being discontinued, a void was felt among the enthusiasts.
