Sputnik V vaccine developer suggests longer gap between doses for higher efficacy rate

THE developer of the Sputnik V vaccine has suggested to regulators who have approved its emergency use to extend the interval between the first and second doses from 21 days to up to three months.

This comes as an initial 15,000 doses of the vaccine is expected to arrive in the Philippines soon as part of the first batch of orders.
