THE Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura (Sinag) filed a criminal complaint against Agriculture Secretary William Dar in connection with the delay in putting up a border inspection facility.
The complaint filed before the Office of the Ombudsman accused Dar of violating Republic Act 10611, or the Food Safety Act of 2013; Executive Order 292, or the Revised Administrative Code of the Philippines; RA 3019, or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act; and RA 6713, or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
