BACNOTAN, La Union: More than P84 million worth of various dangerous drugs seized by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) were destroyed at the Holcim Philippines Inc. compound in Bacnotan, La Union on Thursday.

PDEA-CAR Regional Director Gil Castro said the illegal drugs, obliterated through thermal destruction, included 979.8303 grams of shabu; 4.6550 ml of liquid shabu; 639,695.9333 grams of marijuana; 2016.4 ml of marijuana oil; 467.7342 grams of marijuana seeds; 673 pieces of marijuana plants; and 24 pieces marijuana stalks with a total estimated amount of P84,047,913.39.
