ANGELES CITY Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin donated his two-month salary worth P228,000 to purchase 240 boxes of corned beef and 57 sacks of rice and ordered the distribution of vegetable saplings to community pantries operating in the city.
In the time of a great many in need, it swells the heart that there are many more willing to extend help to countrymen. I am one with you in the goal to strengthen the ‘cooperative community spirit’ in our city)," Lazatin said.
