Immigration frontliners get first Covid-19 jabs

ABOUT 1,000 frontline officers and personnel of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and other ports of entry on Saturday got their first dose of the anti-coronavirus disease vaccine.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said they were targeting to inoculate 1,250 BI personnel with CoronaVac, the vaccine brand acquired by the government from Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac Biotech.
