Duterte appoints Karl Chua as NEDA chief

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has finally appointed Karl Kendrick Chua as the new secretary of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Malacañang announced on Thursday.

Chua's appointment came a year after the President tapped him in an acting capacity following the resignation of then-NEDA chief Ernesto Pernia.
