TYPHOON "Bising" has slowed down but maintained its strength as it moved toward mainland Cagayan and may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, the state-run weather agency said on Wednesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 11 a.m. advisory that Signal No. 1 is still up over Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, the eastern portion of Apayao (Luna, Santa Marcela, Flora and Pudtol), the eastern portion of Kalinga (Pinukpuk and Rizal), the eastern portion of Isabela (Ilagan, San Mariano, Palanan, Divilacan, Maconacon, San Pablo, Cabagan, Tumauini, Santa Maria, Delfin Albano, Santo Tomas, Quezon, Quirino, Gamu, Naguilian, Benito Soliven, Reina Mercedes, Mallig, Burgos, Roxas, Cauayan City, Luna, San Manuel, Cabatuan, Aurora, Dinapigue, San Mateo, Alicia, Angadanan, San Guillermo, Echague, Jones, San Agustin and San Isidro), the northeastern portion of Quirino (Maddela) and the northern portion of Aurora (Casiguran and Dilasag) in Luzon.
