The remains of a teenage boy were recovered by Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) divers Sunday evening after he drowned at Santol River in Barangay Santol, Tanza, Cavite. PCG-Cavite commander Lt. Micheal Encina identified the victim as Regie Oriada, 19, of Barangay Santol. Based on the initial investigation, Oriada was swimming with his friends in the river when the victim submerged in the water and was unable to return to the surface. The coast guard was called to help search for the victim. The PCG also reiterated to the riverside community that under modified enhanced community quarantine, swimming and picnics are still prohibited.
