BACOLOD CITY: Authorities seized about 396 grams of suspected shabu worth P2.6 million from a teenager in a buy bust in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, on Saturday. They identified the suspect as Dan Aldrick Ballesteros, 19, of Barangay 2. According to Lt. Andy Ofalia, commander of Police Station 2, Ballesteros had not been on their drug list. The suspect was arrested after he allegedly sold shabu to a police agent for P1,000. Recovered from Ballesteros were 22 sachets of shabu, the P1,000 marked money and a weighing scale. Ofalia said the operation was led by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-Bacolod and Regional Special Operations Group Region 6 (Western Visayas). The suspect is under the custody of NBI-Bacolod and will face drug charges.
