Our Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) ringside observers-correspondents from the Big Apple Filipino-American painter Rommel Rico and another San Diego- Filipino-American director Ed Samson are respectively anticipating with bated breaths the outcome of the hybrid 93rd Oscars Awards come April 25.

Both are doubly exuberant over the fact that this year has the most diverse slate of prize ponies in the major categories from actors of color including Asian-Americans than last year at said Oscars.
