THE Philippines has set a 75-percent greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction and avoidance target by 2030, according to the Department of Finance (DoF).
In a statement on Friday, the DoF said the goal was set following President Rodrigo Duterte’s approval of the country’s first Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), which is part of the Philippines’ commitment to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
