Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. on Tuesday signed an executive order (EO) imposing a province-wide curfew after Covid-19 cases soared to 66 in the province on Monday. EO No. 11, Series of 2021, took effect Tuesday, strictly prohibiting residents from going out of their homes from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Exceptions are granted to those who need to go out for work or for emergency reasons. Workers must bring with them their identification cards or proof of work schedule. With the 66 new cases, the total number of confirmed cases in the province has ballooned to 1,457. Thirty-nine of the new cases were from Iba while 15 were from Botolan.
