Voter registration suspended in NCR plus bubble, 3 other areas

VOTER registration remains suspended in the National Capital Region (NCR) plus 4 bubble; Santiago City in Isabela and the provinces of Abra and Quirino in Northern Luzon, which were all placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) to quell the rapid spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

In an advisory, Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said on Tuesday that no voter registration would be conducted in these areas from April 12 to 30, adding that the same would also be in effect in other areas placed under ECQ or MECQ by their respective local government units (LGUs).
