MIDSAYAP, North Cotabato: An operation conducted by the Joint Task Force Central and Philippine National Police resulted in the seizure of seven firearms in Sitio Pedtubo, Barangay Langayen, Pikit, North Cotabato.
According to Lt. Col. Rommel Mundala, commanding officer of 90th Infantry “Bigkis-Lahi” Battalion, the target of the operation is Taoki Payapat alias “Alvin” who is believed a member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters. He was in possession of one M16 rifle, one M14 rifle, one M1 Garand rifle, two shotguns, one cal. 45 pistol, one cal. 38 revolver, and assorted ammunition.
