IF the spike of Covid-19 cases would not abate, the provincial government of Oriental Mindoro might have to revert back to a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) or enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), said Gov. Humerlito Dolor on Thursday. Dolor said the province has a total of 1,829 confirmed cases with 302 active cases, some of which involve frontline health workers. He is also asking businessmen to have their employees undergo antigen tests to ensure the safety not only of themselves but also of their clients. The governor also encouraged establishments to adopt work-from-home arrangements, especially for those employees showing symptoms of the coronavirus. On Friday, Dolor met with representatives of local government units to draft protocols and guidelines to be implemented in the province.
