As a fan and as the face of Philippine volleyball, Alyssa Valdez is glad with the addition of the Philippine Superliga (PSL) teams to the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), where her Creamline Cool Smashers compete.

Over the extended off-season, PLDT, Cignal, Chery Tiggo, Sta. Lucia, and F2 Logistics left the PSL to join the now professional league in the PVL.
