The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has sent P2.9 billion worth of financial assistance to 21 municipalities and three cities in Bulacan to be provided for the 3 million population in the province affected by the reimplementation of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) because of continuous swelling of Covid-19 cases.

It is up to the local government units (LGUs), however, to decide whether cash or goods worth P1,000 will be given to each household.
