Japan govt gives Unicef P190M for PH Covid-19 fight

The Japanese government has pledged an additional P190 million to the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (Unicef) to strengthen support to the Philippine government’s Covid-19 immunization response.

The pledge, according to a statement, is part of Tokyo’s assistance to 25 countries in the Southeast and Southwest Asian and Pacific Island region amounting to a total of $41 million.
