House OKs bill that seeks to boost security industry

The House of Representatives approved on third and final reading House Bill (HB) 8783 that aims to strengthen the private security industry.

HB 8783 seeks to repeal Republic Act 5487 or the law regulating the organization and operation of private detective, watchmen or security guard agencies in the country.
