THE past week was especially troublesome and there is so much to actually write about. There is this 1Sambayan coalition being spearheaded by retired justice Antonio Carpio. They have so much to say about the coronavirus and the West Philippine Sea (WPS) response. There is also this tarpaulin issue that supposedly red-tagged Judge Monique Quisumbing Ignacio after her reversal of the warrants issued against Salem. It was followed by a Supreme Court statement on the harassment of members of the bench and lawyers. Then there is this ambush of Philippine National Police troops in Labo, Camarine Norte and how the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) instead was trying to persuade the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the national police to surrender so as not to suffer the same fate as the five police casualties. Huh? Isn’t that what Rep. France Castro of ACT said earlier? Our world is getting crazier each day.
