ON Tuesday, the Supreme Court, led by retiring Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, issued a unanimous “Statement of the Members of the Court En Banc Responding to Calls for Action Regarding the Killing of Lawyers and Threats to Judges.”
Bravo to Their Honors, all 15 justices, for standing up in defense of the judiciary, the justice system, the rule of law, human rights and our democracy itself — all under threat by violence and intimidation of lawyers and judges.
