The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has designated the anchorage grounds of the government and private ports for improved monitoring of marine operations in Surigao.
PPA General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago has signed the PPA Memorandum Circular (MC) 04-2021, which assigned the anchorage grounds for ports under the jurisdiction of Port Management Office (PMO) Surigao to ensure the smooth and safe flow of vessel traffic within their respective area of operations.
