IMUS CITY, Cavite: After a series of simulations witnessed by the Department of Health (DoH) Calabarzon and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), the local government here, through the city’s health department, launched the first drive-through Covid-19 vaccination site in the country on March 18, 2021.

General practitioners Dr. Janina Layosa of the Cavite Medical Society and Dr. Patricia Gutierrez of the De La Salle Dasmariñas Medical Center were among the 50 health workers who received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine in the parking lot of Robinson’s Place Imus.
