MALACAÑANG has asked the European Union (EU) to let the Philippines discharge its obligation to investigate and prosecute individuals involved in killings.
Presidential spokesman Harry Roque Jr. made the appeal after the EU reminded the Philippines about its commitment to ensure accountability for human rights violations amid the killing of nine activists in police and military raids in Calabarzon over the weekend.
