Baguio relaxes entry protocols

BAGUIO CITY relaxed its entry protocols for neighboring towns La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay in line with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution 101-2021, imposing uniform traffic protocols in the country. Mayor Benjamin Magalong issued Executive Order 31, Series of 2021 last March 4, setting new border guidelines for the said towns, explaining that the city had to maintain regulated entry, considering its general community quarantine (GCQ) status and its current bout with new surges in Covid cases. “With the policy of the national government on eased travel restrictions, the city is relying on health declaration forms and triage protocols for contact tracing and Covid-19 mitigation measures,” the mayor noted.
