CALAPAN CITY, Mindoro Oriental: Paulino Salvador Leachon (first district) senior deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, said he has allotted P3.1 billion for projects in his congressional district. He added that seven municipalities and one city in his district stand to benefit from the projects — farm to market roads, construction and rehabilitation of multi-purpose buildings and barangay (village) halls and river-control and flood-mitigation dikes, among others. For the second district of the province, Rep. Alfonso Umali Jr. said he had requested P3 billion for several projects in each of the 165 villages of the seven municipalities in the district.
