The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) said on Wednesday it would release next month a supplemental joint memorandum circular (JMC) to cut the permitting process for the construction of fiber optic and broadcast towers.

In a statement, ARTA Director General Jeremiah Belgica said the supplemental circular, titled “Streamlined Guidelines for the Issuance of Permits, Licenses and Certificates for the Construction of Shared Passive Telecommunications Tower Infrastructures (PTTIs),” will be issued to include the trimmed process.
