BARMM transition extension opposed

Kusug Tausug party-list Rep. Shernee Tan-Tambut opposed the Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s (BTA) request to extend the transition period and postpone the elections of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Five bills calling for the postponement of BARMM elections to 2025 have been filed at the House of Representatives.
