As part of its 26th anniversary celebration, the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) conducted optical and medical missions in Sta. Ana, Cagayan on February 23. CEZA Community Relations Specialist Grace Ruiz, however, said that activities were limited because of the pandemic. “Hindi tulad ng (Unlike) previous years, we were able to conduct different activities, which include the locals. Sa ngayon po, mas maigi po na unahin natin ang kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan habang nagdiriwang tayo ng ating anibersaryo (As of now, it is more important to prioritize our countrymen’s wellbeing while we celebrate our anniversary),” she said. Meanwhile, around 300 job-seekers were expected to be hired by the 15 private companies that participated in the “Job Fair” which was also part of the anniversary celebration.
