MMDA buys AstraZeneca vaccines for 8,000 employees

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has placed an order of AstraZeneca vaccines for the coronavirus disease 2019 for its 8,000 employees, the agency chief said on Wednesday.

MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos said the order from the British-Swedish multinational corporation was made during the time of the late chairman Danilo Lim.
