COTABATO CITY: The United Nations (UN) and international communities in general have affirmed that the success of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) government’s transition is a priority.

Gustavo Gonzalez, UN Resident Coordinator in the Philippines, said the UN will further reinforce its presence in the Bangsamoro region by establishing an office in the area. He also said the organization’s assistance to the Philippines is mostly focused on BARMM.
