A major business group has added its voice in supporting the National Economic and Development Authority’s (NEDA) call to further relax quarantine rules and help the economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

“We express our support for the call of [NEDA] and our economic managers to shift the entire country to the less stringent modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), taking care to implement targeted and localized containment measures where necessary,” Francisco Lim, president of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (Finex), said in a statement over the weekend.
