Missing James Gordon

OLONGAPO CITY, Zambales: Their number may have diminished over the years, but for the few who still remember him through his achievements, contributions and heroism, James Leonard Tagle Gordon, who died 54 years ago, exemplifies the best qualities of a leader.

Born to an American father, a part of the contingent that freed the Philippines from Spain, and a mother who was the daughter of a Filipino revolutionary hero, Gordon was right there at the crossroads of Philippine history.
