BACOLOD City's Office of Building Official has ordered DITO Telecommunity Corporation to stop constructing its cell site in Purok Himaya, Barangay Alijis for lack of permit.
In a notice issued last Feb. 16, 2021, Nestor Velez, acting department head of the Office of Building Official, said that the third telco player violated Section 301 of Presidential Decree 1096 or the National Building Code of the Philippines.
