Globe profit hits P18.6B, to spend P70B in 2021

Listed Globe Telecom Inc. saw its net income plunge to P18.6 billion last year on lower pre-interest earnings and higher depreciation charges and non-operating expenses.

At a virtual briefing on Wednesday, the Ayala-led telecommunications company said the amount was a 16.4-percent decrease from P22.28 billion in 2019.
