Illegal possession of firearms raps junked vs journalist, unionist

A local court has dismissed the case against a journalist and a union organizer who were charged with illegal possession of firearms and explosives last December.

Mandaluyong Regional Trial Court Judge Monique A. Quisumbing-Ignacio of Branch 209 dismissed the case against Lady Ann Salem, editor of alternative media outfit Manila Today and Rodrigo Esparago, who was arrested in a raid on Dec. 10, 2020.
