Pansi Festival showcases Cordillera culture online

CABAGAN, Isabela: Women and members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community have paraded their indigenous masks and costumes in celebration of the annual Pansi Festival from January 24 to 27.

Mayor Christopher Mamauag shared that Cabagan town villagers had been celebrating the town’s festival since its founding in 1877. The coronavirus pandemic, however, limited the celebration online.
